Monitoring State Legislative Activities
The local news is good at keeping viewers up to date on legislative issues like budget, but they rarely cover the issues that affect radiologic technologists at a professional level. ASRT has tools you can use to keep yourself informed about legislative activities in your state or region. This webinar will describe how the ASRT State Legislative and Regulatory Tracking Tool works and other ways you can use to keep up to date on legislative activities. Bills can be tracked through your state legislature’s website, RSS feeds and subscription lists. This webinar will help you find the latest news on bills that are most important to you
If you have any questions about this presentation, don’t hesitate to contact the ASRT State Advocacy and Government Relations Department atgovernmentrelations@asrt.org.
Please note: You will need access to a computer and phone to participate on the day of the webinar. Once you have registered, the system will send you a link to join the web portion. To hear the audio, you will need to dial in at 866-740-1260 with access code 2984500. This webinar will be recorded.

Good Morning MSRT Members and Friends:
I would like to introduce myself. I am Sue McClanahan, President-Elect of the MSRT and besides introducing myself, I am asking for your help.
My past 50+ years of radiologic work history is varied; I have worked in small and large hospitals, the University of Minnesota Veterinary Teaching Hospital and in Radiation control for the Minnesota Department of Health.
Currently, I am retired but am CEO/co-owner of the Radiologic Education Center in Spring Lake Park, MN. Here we provide continued education on MN issues.
My MSRT commitment continues to be very strong. I have been a member since the late ‘50s servicing in multiple capacities. I have served as both President and President-Elect. Some of the committees I have served on are: the Continuing Education Committee (25 years), Chair and Co-Chair for the Continuing Education Committee and presenter for multiple education seminars including being the George Mansour Memorial Lecture.
There are 2 Board Positions that will need to be filled at our September meeting, President-Elect and Secretary. The position requirements are posted on the MSRT web-site at www.MNSRT.com.
For more information or if you wish to contact me directly, my e-mail is vern9803@q.com.
I look forward to serving you as the MSRT President Beginning in September 2015.
Sincerely,
Sue McClanahan, RT(R), ARRT
