    ASRT Student Leadership Development Program-APPLY NOW!!!                            

    The ASRT is now accepting applications for the 2018 Student Leadership Development Program. 

    Students are encouraged to apply for this unique experience where you will be given the opportunity to get to know the ASRT, attend educational sessions and network with medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals. 

    Two (2) MSRT students will be selected by a panel of MSRT board appointed judges, and winners will be notified on or before March 1st, 2018.  The winners will attend the 2018 ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, June 21-24th, 2018.

     

    Included:

    -Airfare, housing, stipend for meals and other travel expenses

    -An educational program designed just for students

    -A professional mentor assigned for the meeting

    An insider's look in to the largest association for medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals

    Additional criteria required by the MSRT:

    Applicants must be a current MARS member.

    Program director must be a MSRT member.

    Program must be accredited by the JRCERT

    Applicants are strongly encouraged to present a brief synopsis of their experience at the MSRT annual conference.  If unable to attend, a brief written synopsis could be shared.

    As a part of the ASRT essay, please include a brief answer to the following question:  

    How have you been active in MSRT and how do you plan to participate in the MSRT in the future?

    ASRT will forward applications to the MSRT representative, applicant criteria will be verified and judging will be done anonymously by 3 judges appointed by the MSRT president.

    Congratulations to Kally Marquardt and Cherice Gutzwiler for being selected by the MSRT for the Student Leadership Development Program at the 2014 ASRT Educational Symposium and Annual Governance and House of Delegates meeting in Orlando, Florida June 26-29th.

    Kally is a radiography student at Mayo School of Health Sciences and Cherice is a radiography student at Argosy University.

    Thank you to all who applied, the selection committee had a difficult time selecting the winners from the essays that were provided.
